On the shores of Lake Ontario
This beautiful, elegant wedding took place in Oswego on the shores of Lake Ontario. I met Shannon and Dan for their engagement session in 2021 at the Rose Garden in Schenectady, NY (check out my blog post on their engagement session!). I loved working with them and their cute pup Woody and was ecstatic when Shannon reached out to book me for her wedding.
Shannon and Dan met on the shores of Lake Ontario when they were both in college. They had mutual friends that all knew each other and the first time they hung out together they hit it off but it wasn't until several months later when Dan asked her out on his birthday. How could she say no? haha. The rest was history that eventually brought us to Oswego at the beautiful venue, Bayshore Grove.
Please enjoy the photos of this wedding which finished with a spectacular sunset over the lake (so don't miss the photos at the end!) I was SO nervous we were not going to have a sunset due to the threatening storm, but Dan reassured me that he was certain that there would be a perfect sunset - and he was right!!!
